Briefing

Repeat Backup Investigation explained.

When a sewer backs up more than once, the cause is almost never random. It could be roots, a belly, a broken joint, an overloaded connection or a problem in the public main. Each needs a different answer.

We camera the line from your cleanout to the street, note exactly what is going on, and check how your lateral meets the main. The footage tells you whether to clean, repair, reline or call the utility.

Questions

Repeat Backups FAQ.

Could the city main be the cause?

Yes. If the main is overloaded or blocked, the lowest connections back up first. Footage can help you show that to the utility.

What about backups only in storms?

That often points to stormwater getting into the sewer through cracked joints. The camera can find those entry points.

Should I install a backwater valve?

It can help, but it does not fix the cause. Ask a plumber after we have shown you what is going on.
