What is a sewer camera inspection?
A waterproof camera on a flexible cable or a small tracked crawler travels through your drain or sewer line while we record video. You see the pipe’s material, condition, joints, roots and any damage.
Do you serve homes and businesses?
Both. We scope residential sewer lines and in-home drains, plus restaurants, multi-unit buildings and other commercial lines.
What areas do you serve?
Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee. The service areas page lists 36 of them with an interactive map.
What should I do before you arrive?
Locate your cleanout if you can, note when the problem happens, and keep water use light. If sewage is coming up, call right away.
Camera inspections
How long does an inspection take?
Many inspections take about an hour on site, depending on line length, access and what the camera finds. We give you a time estimate when we book.
Will you find every problem?
The camera shows what is inside the part of the pipe it can reach. Very long runs, collapsed sections or full blockages can limit that. We tell you plainly what was and was not seen.
Do I get the video?
Yes. We record the inspection and walk you through the footage, and you receive a copy with a written summary.
Can the camera damage my pipe?
The cameras are made for this work, and inspectors choose the push camera or crawler to suit the pipe. Fragile or collapsed pipe is one reason we check the line carefully first.
Buying & selling
Should I scope the sewer before buying a house?
In Middle Tennessee, older clay, cast iron and Orangeburg lines and big trees make it worth considering. A scope costs little compared with a surprise repair.
Is a regular home inspection enough?
A home inspection looks at what is visible. It does not usually put a camera inside the underground sewer line.
I am selling. Does a scope help?
It can. A clean recorded scope shows buyers the line is in good shape, and finding a problem early lets you handle it on your terms.
Can you work with my agent or inspector?
Yes. We can schedule around your inspection window and send the video and report to whoever you choose.
Locating & leaks
How do you find a buried pipe?
We run a small transmitter, called a sonde, through the line with the camera and trace its signal from above ground, then mark the route and depth.
Can you find a leak?
We combine the camera with listening and other tools to narrow down where water or sewage is escaping, and we tell you how confident we are in the location.
What is a cross bore?
It is a utility line, often gas, that was drilled straight through a sewer line. A camera can find one before a drain cleaner does damage. If you suspect one, tell us and your utility.
Do you mark the yard?
Yes, with paint or flags, and we can photograph the markings for your records.
Cost & scheduling
How much does a camera inspection cost?
It depends on the line, access and what you need. Our estimator gives a planning range, and we confirm the price before we start.
Do you offer same-day service?
Often we can get to urgent calls quickly. Call (615) 952-0844 and we will tell you what we can do today.
Can you clean the line first?
Yes. If grease, roots or debris block the camera, hydro-jetting first lets us see the real pipe.
What payment options are there?
Ask when you book. Payment methods and any financing vary, and we explain them before work begins.
