Briefing

Grease Buildup Inspection explained.

Cooking fats go down the drain warm and liquid, then cool and cling to the pipe wall. Layer on layer, they shrink the pipe to a fraction of its size until a small clog stops everything.

We camera kitchen lines to see how thick the grease is, how far it extends and whether the line behind it is damaged. For restaurants, the footage is a maintenance record and a guide to where jetting is needed.

Grease control rules vary by jurisdiction. Check with your local authority. Our footage documents the condition.

How often should a kitchen line be scoped?

Busy kitchens benefit from a periodic look, often once or twice a year, depending on volume.
