RECCH 1000:00:00Clay Tile Sewer Inspection explained.
Vitrified clay tile is hard and does not rust, but it is installed in short lengths with a joint every few feet. Over decades the joints shift, mortar or gaskets fail and tree roots find the moisture inside.
We inspect clay laterals and mains for root intrusion, cracked or broken sections, offset joints and sags. The camera shows whether the pipe is a good candidate for cleaning, lining or targeted repair.

Can roots be removed?
Yes, with cutting or hydro-jetting. Roots usually come back at joints that stay open, which is why the camera matters.
Does clay always fail?
No. Many clay lines last many decades. The inspection decides about yours.
Do you do the repair?
We inspect and diagnose, and we send the footage to the contractor you choose.
