RECCH 1300:00:00Crawler Camera Inspection explained.
When a sewer run is long, large or has standing water, a push cable can only go so far. A tracked crawler pulls its own cable behind it, holds a self-leveling camera head and can drive hundreds of feet of pipe.
We bring crawlers sized for 6 inch and larger lines. They give a steady, upright picture, a measured distance and the ability to tilt and pan to look into side connections.

Can a crawler do a 4 inch line?
Some small crawlers can. Tight bends and cleanout shapes may still call for a push camera.
Does it work through water?
Light flow and shallow water are fine. Deep water hides the pipe and we say so.
Why not always use a crawler?
Small lines, tight bends and in-house branches suit a push camera better. We pick the tool that fits.
