RECCH 1400:00:00Push Camera Inspection explained.
A push camera is a camera head on a stiff but flexible rod wound on a reel. It goes where a crawler cannot: 2 inch branch lines, tight 90-degree bends, cleanouts at awkward angles and long, narrow runs.
We choose a push camera for in-house drains, tight cleanouts and smaller laterals. It is quick to set up, gentle on the pipe and still delivers clear recorded video with a measured distance.

How far can a push camera go?
Typically well into a residential line, but bends and friction limit it. A crawler may be better for very long runs.
Is it as good as a crawler?
For smaller lines it is the better tool. For long or larger lines a crawler is.
Can it find a clog?
Yes. It stops at the blockage and shows exactly what it is.
